Sick Visits (based on Medical Conditions Treated)
Patients who are seen for sick visits can avoidlongwaittimes and avoid being exposed to other sick patients at a traditional brick and mortar urgent care clinic. Our price for sick visits is significantly lower than the average urgent care clinic price of $170 ($75 insurance copay) and the emergency department visit price of at least $500 ($250 insurance copay)! For only $35, patients are assessed, examined, diagnosed, and treated with electronic prescriptions which are sent directly to the pharmacy of their choice, all through a cyber secure platform.
When you run out of your medications and can’t see your primary care physician or if you’re between insurance coverage and don't have a primary care physician currently, Virtually Urgent Healthcare offers medication refill services for maintenance medications taken for hypertension, diabetes, birth control, seizures, and asthma with proof of medication being previously prescribed, i.e. empty prescription bottle with patient’s information on it. All prescriptions including medication refills will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choosing. We DO NOT refill narcotics or psychiatric medications.
Consultations, with Virtually Urgent Healthcare, are for patients who are experiencing symptoms that are not treated by our virtual clinic, i.e. COVID-19, vaginal bleeding/discharge, abdominal pain, injuries, etc. Our experienced clinicians will advise patients as to what they should do and where they should go to get the appropriate care needed
Here at VUH, we feel strongly about our role in addressing the lack of compassionate convenient urgent care in today’s society. We are committed to providing a high degree of value for our patients with every visit. We take time to sympathize and understand our patients and their medical needs. If you have medications needing to be refilled, urgent care needs, or have questions about your medical conditions, We are here to help!
